CREATIVE ART MINISTRY

WIN Creative Arts Ministry

God created us with unique abilities to proclaim His Word and to help serve our brothers and sisters in Christ. But oftentimes, we are not even aware of the talents that God gave us. But in his perfect time, He will ultimately show us his grace in different ways that we may know, as good servants, to use whatever gift he will give us in a way that will best serve each other.

We thank God for the talents, gifts and ingenuity that He gave us. These abilities that enable us to give kind words, to share our musical skills, giving, preaching of His word, compassion to others, teaching skills, communication skills, organizing events, and so on basically came from our Father.

For anything that we do we give all our body, soul and spirit to give honor and reverence to the Almighty One who authored these things through our Lord Jesus Christ

We have all been given different talents, gifts, abilities. God works in different ways through each of us, and we all serve Him faithfully as we use our gifts to glorify Him. We should invest the gifts that God has blessed us with wisely. We should use our gifts and abilities to honor God and to bless, encourage and strengthen others in love (without love, all our gifts are nothing!). Our talent is God’s gift to us as His children.

We should not neglect our gifts, but instead develop them, “stir them up”, “fan them into flames”… so that they get even better, to the edification of the church and to the glory of God.

1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

1 Corinthians 12:4-6
“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone.”

Exodus 35:10 (NIV)
“All who are skilled among you are to come and make everything the Lord has commanded.”

Colossians 3:23-24
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.”

We were created for work and if we work heartily and do it “for the Lord” knowing it really isn’t “for men” that we do it, we will receive an “inheritance as our reward” because in reality, we “are serving the Lord Christ” and not humans.  This word for “heartily”, it means it depends upon the effort that we put into it; therefore the impetus is upon us to do whatever we are doing in life in a wholehearted effort.

Exodus 35:30-33

“See, the Lord has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, with intelligence, with knowledge, and with all craftsmanship, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold and silver and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, for work in every skilled craft.”

Bezalel was given special abilities and talents to work in a creative manner on the construction of the tabernacle of God.  These creative abilities included intelligence, knowledge, and skill in his craft.  God expected Bezalel to pass along these abilities and so He “inspired him to teach, both him and Oholiab the son of Ahisamach of the tribe of Dan. He has filled them with skill to do every sort of work done by an engraver or by a designer or by an embroiderer in blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, or by a weaver by any sort of workman or skilled designer” (Ex 35:34-35). It was the Lord that gave Bezalel these creative gifts and God expected him to teach these skills to others (Ex 35:34-35).

Our Mission

Our mission is to worship and honor God, through sharing of our God given creative gifts and talents that will encourage and strengthen others in love and a privilege to reach out for the lost ones which eventually will lead us to patronize the vision of the church about:

Bridging the lost

Belonging to a community

Believing in Christ,

Becoming a disciple and

Building the Kingdom.

Our Goal

Our goal is to use our given talents, skill and abilities in love upon the task of spearheading  specific activities that we will be given to the ministry and to be of help or in assistance in support to any ministries or cell groups who’ll be assigned to lead specific projects. In this way all the specific parts of the body of church are moving harmoniously, as each God given gifts are complimenting each other, utilizing it to the fullest, moving towards one specific goal to give praise and glory to our Almighty Father.
